DEAD TUBE is a single-player auto-simulation and behind-the-scenes intervention game built around a closed survival battle royale featuring 12 contestants. When a sole survivor emerges, add her to your collection, or let her carry her scars, reputation, and combat record into the next challenge.
Twelve enter the battlefield. Only one will leave.
DEAD TUBE is a single-player management game built around an automated survival competition. You are not one of the contestants wielding a weapon. You are the operator behind the surveillance console, watching, judging, and intervening from the shadows.
Twelve contestants are dropped into an open battlefield, where they independently scavenge for supplies, manage their survival needs, craft equipment, construct facilities, and fight one another. Every decision you make could determine who is left standing.
Contestants act independently according to their abilities, physical condition, equipment, past experiences, and current surroundings. They explore buildings and resource sites, search for food, medicine, and weapons, and choose whether to rest, craft, or build before danger closes in.
Fear, hostility, grudges, and memories of past events can all alter their judgment.
Melee weapons, firearms, explosives, armor, and bodily injuries interact to produce a different outcome in every encounter.
Spend Intervention Points to influence the match:
• Drop supplies for a selected contestant, providing equipment and resources she urgently needs
• Reveal a contestant’s location, exposing her to everyone else on the battlefield
• Provide covert medical treatment to help a target recover from her injuries
• Place a bounty, encouraging other contestants to hunt down the same target
• Trigger a torrential downpour, reducing visibility and disrupting movement and recovery
• Activate a toxic containment zone, forcing everyone toward an ever-shrinking safe area
Each intervention has its own cost and cooldown. Saving one person may push another to the brink.
Every contestant follows the same fundamental rules of survival. Through their actions, they improve their ranged combat, melee combat, construction, crafting, medical, survival, and social skills.
Their physical condition, relationships, memories, kills, victories, and defining experiences are all permanently recorded.
You can also adjust their training priorities and watch an unknown rookie grow into a veteran feared by everyone on the battlefield.
When only one survivor remains, you must decide what happens to her next.
Add the champion to your permanent collection and retire her with her complete record intact, or let her carry her growth, scars, reputation, and champion status into the next round, where eleven new opponents await.
Daily reports capture the present. Match histories preserve every lineup, pivotal elimination, and intervention from behind the scenes. You can also replay each match and reconsider how a single decision changed the fate of everyone involved.
You cannot guarantee who will survive.
But you can decide how this death stream unfolds.
