A post-apocalyptic management game with a streak of absurd humor. Take in Survivors, build Rooms, expand your Base, merge Rooms, manage each run's resources, and keep it all running while completing Survival Plans and weathering Zombie Hordes.
The apocalypse is here, but the building still needs managing—and the rent still needs collecting. In Doomsday Landlord, you play as the Landlord, managing an apartment building and its Base. Take in Survivors and assign them Rooms, where they produce and consume Items and pay rent each day. Build, expand, or demolish sections of the Base, then merge Rooms to raise their Star Rank and keep the whole building running.
Each run unfolds across a series of Survival Plans. Collect Drumsticks and meet each Survival Plan Goal within the allotted days while handling Special Events and Major Events triggered on specific days. Infection, Invasions, Zombies, Zombie Kings, and Zombie Hordes all threaten the Base, so keep a close eye on Safety and your Survivors' status.
Survival Coins are permanent resources used between runs for Recruitment and Character upgrades. Recruitment uses a fixed number of Survival Coins to permanently unlock a Character; once unlocked, that Character cannot be recruited again. Talent Points are used in the Talent Tree, while Drumsticks and Lizardcat Chow are available only during the current run. Beyond the serious survival rules, expect workplace satire, absurd events, and jokes that turn familiar tropes on their head.
