About

Notes from the developer:

- This is not a puzzle game, in Citystate there is no right combination to build a successful Nation. This is a sandbox, old school style in which most building tools are unlocked at the start. There are no mandatory guided steps, aside from a brief independent tutorial.
- Micro-management is minimal in Citystate; you won't need to build public facilities or set up bus lines. Instead, the game focuses on macro-management and economics, encouraging you to explore the big picture and experiment with political ideologies.
- The game mechanics are based on today’s global economy. The effect of policies aim to mirror real-world nations and their inherent differences. Citystate is often politically incorrect and possibly biased.
- The game is specifically designed for mature audiences.
