You were just supposed to bring medicine home to your wife. Now you're trapped in a seemingly endless cornfield. In this first-person psychological horror, your only companion is your own voice in your head. Talk to your alter ego, step through portals into your dark past, and try to find a way out.

You were on your way home. A strange noise in the woods, a moment of panic, and you ran into the corn. When you woke up, the field had grown into an endless, illogical maze. The medicine your wife desperately needs is still in your pocket, but time is running out.
Between Us is a first-person psychological horror game focused on narrative, atmosphere, and the unsettling reality of being trapped inside your own mind. As you push through the stalks trying to find a way back, you realize two things: you are not alone in this field, and you are not alone in your head.

Your Alter Ego: There is a voice in your head, and you can openly talk to him. He’s sarcastic, blunt, and claims to be a part of you. You can be friendly, snap back at him, or ignore him completely to pretend you're sane. If you build a good relationship, he will warn you about dangers and guide you. If you ignore him too often, he’ll return the favor, leaving you entirely on your own. Sometimes, it’s better to have someone to talk to.
Portals to the Past: The only way to escape the corn is to step through portals hidden within it. These lead to physical locations from your past. You must complete specific tasks inside these memory fragments to progress the story and return to the field.
A Darker Truth: While inside the portals, you can rush through the objectives or take your time to explore. Finding optional items and clues will slowly unravel the protagonist's real backstory—which is much darker than a simple wrong turn on the way home.
Choices Matter: At Galactic Foxes, we want your playthrough to feel personal. The way you treat your alter ego and the secrets you uncover inside the portals give the game strong replay value, changing the tone and support you get during your journey.
Raw Visual Style: We wanted a gritty, unsettling atmosphere. The game is fully 3D but uses a custom pixel-art shader, and every texture has been drawn by hand to give it a distinct, rough indie aesthetic.
Get through the corn. Piece together what you did. Bring the medicine home.
