One human hides among the factory robots. Blend in, complete your tasks, and imitate the machines, or, as the Supervisor, watch for the one worker who hesitates, takes the wrong route, and fumbles the robot voice lines. Get it wrong and you decommission an innocent machine.
You are one human hiding in a factory full of robots. Do not get caught.
HUMAN ERROR is a social-deduction party game about blending in. The humans are disguised as ordinary worker robots, moving through a bright, sterile factory of identical machines. Your job is to look like just another unit: complete your tasks, follow orders, and imitate the robots around you. The moment you hesitate, take a wrong turn, or botch a spoken response, someone is watching.
Two ways to play the tension:
Hide as a Worker. You are human, surrounded by machines. Do your tasks, keep your charge up, and when the Supervisor barks an order, respond like a robot would, on time, in the right voice, without missing a beat. One slow reaction is all it takes.
Command as the Supervisor. You patrol the floor giving orders and testing units. You cannot see who is human, you have to read behavior: who paused a beat too long, who took the wrong route, who fumbled the response. You have a limited number of decommission authorizations, and every innocent machine you scrap is one you can't take back.
Disrupt as the Inspector. From above the floor, you spend credits on chaos, blackouts, EMP bursts, charger shorts, to rattle the workers and flush out the human hiding among them.
It is not a voting game. There are no meetings and no ballots. Humans are caught by direct observation and testing, not by argument. If you want to survive, you have to actually act like a machine.
