Glitch Protocol
A brutal precision platformer where the level itself is lying to you. Run, jump and die through 200 handcrafted rooms of vanishing floors, fleeing doors and gravity that flips mid-jump. Then build your own lies in the editor and share them as codes.
The floor was there a second ago. The door was on the right. You checked the platform before you jumped - and the level rewrote it while you were in the air.
GLITCH PROTOCOL is a fast, hostile, hand-built precision platformer about a corrupted machine that fights back. One thing in every room is true: the purple exit. Everything else is negotiable.
200 ROOMS. EVERY ONE OF THEM LIES.
Floors that open under your feet - and floors that were never there
Exits that sprint away the moment you get close
Gravity that flips because you dared to jump
Platforms that only exist while you are looking at the other ones
A shadow that replays your exact route, one second behind you
Saws, snipers, crushers, floods, lasers - and worse things with no honest name
Controls that stop meaning what they said they meant
Two boss fights against the machine itself
BUILD YOUR OWN LIES
Everything the game does to you, you can do to somebody else. The built-in level editor hands you the same toolbox the campaign was made with, and a room you build is a room anyone can play.
Fifteen tools - walls, spikes, phantom tiles, mines, collapsing floors, crumbling planks, hunting saws, pulsing lasers, falling spikes, moving lifts and fake doors
Six room-wide rules - the ghost that copies you, lights out, inverted controls, a fleeing exit, screen wrap, and forced auto-run
Test any room instantly, then jump straight back to editing
Out of ideas? ROLL A RANDOM ROOM - the generator builds a guaranteed-beatable room around a single idea, and you edit it from there
SHARE A ROOM WITH A LINE OF TEXT
Every finished room becomes a short code. Paste it in Discord, on the forums, in a comment - anyone with the game can paste it back and play the exact room you built. No servers, no accounts, no uploads, nothing to sign up for.
And one rule keeps the junk out: you cannot share a room until you have beaten it yourself.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
CAMPAIGN - all 200 rooms, unlimited retries, progress saved
DON'T DIE - one life. One mistake ends the run
DAILY CHALLENGE - eight rooms, one life, the same set for everyone on Earth today, one scored run, and a streak to protect
LEVEL EDITOR - build, test, share, import
EARN YOUR COLOURS
Eleven player skins, and ten of them are locked. There is no shop and nothing to buy - every one is the payout on an achievement, so the list finally means something. Clear the first sector, put down the Simulation Core, take a boss without dying, clear a room in under three seconds.
DIE SMART
Every trap is deterministic. Every death teaches you the rule the room was hiding. Restarts are instant, the death counter is honest, and every level can be finished in seconds - once you stop believing what you see. Hard, fair, and extremely petty about it.
BUILT FOR THE STUBBORN
200 handcrafted levels across 21 sectors - no filler, no procedural padding
Per-level best times for speedrunners
31 achievements, from COLD BOOT to FULL DISCLOSURE
Deaths are counted. The game remembers. So will you.
CRT glitch aesthetic with a reduced-flashing accessibility option
Short rooms, instant respawns - one more try, every time
The level is lying to you. Beat it anyway.
