Build a supermarket empire solo or with up to 4 friends. Stock the shelves, set your own prices, work the register by hand, chase down shoplifters and hire a crew — and grow one empty room into the busiest store in town.
Grab your friends, pull up the shutters, and turn one empty room into the busiest supermarket in town.
Supermarket Empire Together is a hands-on co-op business sim where you do the work yourself. You place the orders, carry the boxes, arrange every single item on the shelf, write every price tag — and stand at the register counting change while the queue grows behind you. Play alone at your own pace, or bring in up to 3 friends and split the chaos.
You start with a bare room. Order furniture from your office PC, drop it into place with a snapping hologram preview, and rearrange it until it feels right. Repaint the walls, retile the floor, swap the ceiling. Then put your own name above the door in raised 3D letters, in whatever color you like. When the space gets tight, unlock the sealed sections of the building and expand.
There is no auto-sell button. Ring up the items, open the physical drawer, pick out the right notes and coins, and hand the change back yourself. Get it right and the customer leaves happy; hold up the line and they walk out empty-handed. Every product carries its own price tag and its own demand curve — undercut the market and watch the shelves empty, push your margin and watch the stock sit. Finding the sweet spot is the whole game.
Some people walk in with no intention of ever reaching the checkout. When the door alarm goes off, the call is yours: chase them down and take back what's yours — with your fists, if that's what it takes. Or hire a security guard and let someone else keep the peace while you work.
Cashiers, stockers, cleaners and security guards — hire them from your PC, promote them as they gain experience, and pay their wages every week. The bills arrive whether you're ready or not, and if you let them slide too long the power goes out and your staff walk. Assign products to shelf sections and your stockers will keep them full while you handle the bigger problems.
Your store isn't a box floating in the void. Traffic moves on the road outside, pedestrians pass your windows, streetlights flicker on at dusk and the whole city rolls through a full day-night cycle while you work. Open up in the morning, hit your daily quota, pay the rent, read the end-of-day report — then do it all again, bigger.
You begin with a handful of basics. Dry goods, fresh produce, deli and meat, cold drinks and dairy, cleaning supplies, refrigerated equipment, self-checkout — all of it sits behind a license you earn by proving your store can handle it. 87 products and 15 licenses stand between you and the shop you're picturing.
Invite friends straight through Steam and run the same store together with up to 4 players. Split the jobs however you want: one on the register, one hauling boxes from the delivery point, one scrubbing the floor, one sprinting after the guy who just ran out the door. The wallet, the shelves, the mess and the profit are all shared. Prefer the quiet? The entire game plays start to finish as a single-player experience.
