48 hours before the floodgates open and drown the town to protect the City Above. Vik and his friends steal a maintenance tram through the wall. A short psychological horror VN about escape made useful.
Forty-eight hours until the floodgates open.
In Mother;Above, a short (~30 minute) psychological horror visual novel, you follow Vik, a teenage laborer in a basin town built beneath the floodwall that protects the City Above.
Vik maintains pumps, repairs drain lines… paints evacuation routes… and packs the emergency kits that keep the city dry.
Then the Flood Authority announces a controlled discharge.
Vik's mother disappeared through the wall years earlier. Her civic file does not list her as dead or missing. It says only: MOTHER; ABOVE.
With Sava, Corn, Braska, and an older runaway named Meytan, Vik plans to steal the Highline, a maintenance tram that can carry them through the floodwall before the gates open.
