Diss Diss Discussion
When student council president Sakurai fights to make uniforms optional, Hiyama pushes back against her (because Sakurai-senpai looks too good in them!) with nonsensical wit. Hasumi can barely look at what her crush gets himself into... A visual novel about the dumb things we say to get things done.
"Diss Diss Discussion" is a visual novel that dives into the personal stories of the students in Kohnodai Academy, each character beautifully designed and illustrated by Takuya Fujima ("Negima!? Neo" and "Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha" manga).
Told in an ensemble format, the story eventually brings the characters together to discuss and vote on the policies that control what they can do. Join the students as their arguments grow increasingly heated, each bringing in their own preferences and worries into the mix.
"Diss Diss Discussion" is based on a number of stage plays originally written by Yuu Tomisaka (Agarisk Entertainment).
"And THAT'S why nobody likes you!"
Kohnodai Academy prides itself on the self-governance and autonomy of its students.
One day, the charismatic student council president, Risa Sakurai, causes a whirlwind of controversy by proposing a change to the dress code: She wants to make uniforms a personal choice.
Meanwhile...
Vice president Hiyama Ryo just wants to admire his senpai in her uniform...
Secretary Hasumi Ai secretly harbors feelings for Hiyama...
Sakakibara Tsubasa is determined to protect a certain secret at all costs...
Chinatsu Kashino wants to confirm the suspicions she has about her boyfriend...
Then there is Komatsu Shoko, the hard-working auditing committee chair...
And many more!
When a room full of quirky, overly opinionated students assemble, logic and raw emotion go head to head!
But the real disaster begins when it's time to pick the class activities for the Cultural Festival. Welcome to the "Content Restriction Meeting"—where the worst, most unwanted assignments must be distributed. As class reps fight to defend their agendas, ridiculous excuses, wild loopholes, and mental gymnastics fly back and forth in an absolute storm!
Just how will this meeting end!?
And will Hiyama finally find love?
And so, the curtain rises on this sophistry-filled coming-of-age ensemble drama, "Diss Diss Discussion"!
