Visual Novel: Boomer on a Date
A blind date with Anya, a woman with a nose for lies and an interrogation tougher than customs. Three questions at every turn, and one wrong word will send you home under the pitiful gaze of pigeons. Answer honestly—you won't fool her.
Meet Sanya. A man whose life has stalled somewhere between an empty refrigerator and a sagging sofa. A typical Friday evening, a dating site—and suddenly a profile without a single photo, but with a promise of heartfelt love. Thus begins a blind date that will turn into the longest and best evening in the last six months.
She's Anya. Big, lively eyes, the personality of an investigator, and a gut instinct that can't hide a single lie. She meets our hero at the fountain and announces her signature approach to men: three questions, honest answers, no fluff. And that's just the beginning.
Then they'll be whisked away across the city: the cozy dumpling shop "At Matryona's" with its formidable waitress Angela and the philosopher cat at the bar, a golden sunset on the embankment, the evening streets of the old city center, and a courtyard under a dim street lamp. At every turn, there's a new trio of questions and a new test thrown at you by life, as if on cue: a wise homeless man, a child with a kite stuck in the power lines, ex-husband Vityok, brazen thugs, mean neighbors Grandpa Petrovich and Grandma Klava, and a greedy taxi driver.
Every answer is a choice. Every choice is either a step toward a warm kitchen with thyme tea, apple pie made according to Grandma's recipe, and honey labeled "summer," or a sharp turn and a lonely walk home under the pitiful gazes of pigeons, cats, and random passersby. Because behind all these questions, teasing, and tests, there's one, the most important thing: can you be trusted?
Will Sanya pass every single exam? Or will one careless word ruin an entire wonderful evening? The ending is entirely up to you—and it's much warmer than it initially seems.
