The Anomalous Backrooms is a psychological observation horror game set in various portions of the backrooms. Study each room, decide whether something has changed, and choose the correct exit. Get eight right to escape. Make one wrong choice, and the loop resets.
You are trapped inside a section of the backrooms that keeps looping back on itself.
Each time you enter the room, take a good look around. Something may have moved, disappeared, appeared where it should not be, or changed in a way that is easy to miss.
Once you have made your decision, you must choose an exit.
Enter the Normal Exit if everything is the same.
Enter the Anomaly Exit if something has changed.
Choose correctly eight times and you can escape the loop. Make the wrong choice, and you are sent back to the beginning.
There are no weapons to protect you and no complicated puzzles standing between you and the exit. The only thing you can rely on is your memory, your attention, and whether you trust what you just saw.
Some anomalies will be obvious. Others may be small enough to make you question whether anything changed at all.
Do not rush and miss something.
The Backrooms are not empty.
