11 heroines · 11 elements · over 40 elemental interactions · over 80 spells · over 10 biomes · over 100 costume-classes to collect
You are an Elemancer — one of eleven elemental mages, each a different answer to the swarm: a bulwark who counterpunches, a beastmaster with a hunting pack, an engineer who carpets the field in turrets, and more to discover.
Land one element to leave a status, then strike with another to set off a reaction. Commit to one element to stack weaknesses in a biome, wield two elements to fuse them into a Confluence that upgrades their reactions, or use many different elements to diversify your attacks.
Raise a pack of pets that roam and hunt the swarm. Deploy turrets and infuse them with your element. Stack thorns or charm foes to reflect the horde back into itself.
Over 20 run-warping Relics to discover, items that bend the rules in your favor.
A bestiary with over 100 creatures to discover.
Your run-chosen ultimate (Pulse) charges as you kill and detonates at your command, layering active gameplay into a common formula. Pulses are also infusible with elements.
Runs end; your Mana persists. Spend it in the Sanctum on permanent upgrades to push further and farther.
Every mage accumulates more Attunement points as you clear biomes with her. Points you can allocate/re-allocate at the start of each run across six stat paths to further shape your runs.
Heroines and costume-classes unlock as you play; every unlock is earned in play.
