Bandocracy
Welcome to the Bandocracy! Manage a rock band's journey from writing songs to breaking hearts to saving the world in this banger of a narrative game.
Half a century ago, the Earth was on fire, so it didn’t take much for the all-knowing AI to convince the 1% that the planet’s time was up. The rich and powerful built rockets and one day they were gone, vanished into the sky like fading stars. In the ashes of the Moonists abandonment, rose an idea. What if humankind could only survive by banding together? And yes, we mean with literal rock bands.
"The world’s on fire in the darkest night
We’re your band for hire, we will make it right
Rock to vote, better make it quick
Note for note, we’re your body politic"
Write songs that change your community for the better, manage competing egos, and unpack the emotional history of your up-and-coming band of musicians!
Decide what each song means to you and watch the story unfold. Pick between musical styles and political stances. Flex your creative muscles and change the world.
