Underroot

Underroot is a cozy fantasy mining adventure about traveling to a Mushroom Village threatened by a spreading corruption known as the Rot.

The Mushroom People need help, so you make the journey to Underroot. After arriving by train, you are free to explore the village, meet its residents, gather supplies, and prepare for the mines below.

Mining is at the heart of Underroot. Explore underground realms, gather valuable ores, discover hidden treasures, complete quests, and gradually improve your equipment. The deeper you travel, the more dangerous the Rot becomes, and the more questions you uncover about what lies beneath the village.

The people of Underroot know something is wrong, but they don't know what's causing it. Ancient crystals, forgotten machines, and the deepest reaches of the mines may hold answers, but those mysteries are revealed through exploration.

Between expeditions, return to the warmth of the Mushroom Village to rest, prepare, manage your supplies, and get to know its people. Place useful objects such as lights, make parts of the mines your own, and record quests and discoveries in your journal.
