A short incremental game where you are the disaster. Destroy fields, cars, buildings. Gather wreck to grow and spend it on upgrades inside the big skill tree.
You are not running from the disaster. You are steering it.
The Big Suck is an arcade incremental game about flattening a county for money, then spending the money on a worse tornado.
At first, grass is a worthy opponent. A hay bale feels ambitious. A barn is personal.
Then the camera pulls back.
When the wind dies you get a damage report and a payday. Buy a wider pull, a longer clock, a nastier chain reaction.
Then touch down again and settle up with the barn that survived.
Past a certain size you stop being weather and start choosing what kind.
BECOME FIRE. Spread infernos from target to target.
BECOME THE FLOOD. Throw bow waves down whole streets, then run current through the wet ground.
BECOME WINTER. Hold still, let the cold spread, then crack one frozen block and take the district with it.
BECOME THE VOID. Open a hole and let matter stop pretending it is permanent.
Switch between touchdowns. Once a storm is yours, it stays yours.
Fire crews try to contain you. Bomb squads defuse your best chain reactions. Tanks roll in, jets scramble, and eventually somebody authorizes a weapon that should not be pointed at weather.
Catch the shells in your wind. Return them. Get paid for the inconvenience.
By then the map is not a place. It is the next thing you outgrow.
A TORNADO WITH A BUSINESS PLAN.
Add it to your wishlist and Steam will tell you the moment the watch becomes a warning.
