Open Interest is an adult romance visual novel set inside Bellwether Markets, a breakout prediction exchange where elections, storms, and ceasefires all become tradable contracts. You play as Lennox Carver, Bellwether's Chief Markets Officer, and the man under federal subpoena for the most infamous market in company history: a mortality contract on missing aid worker Edith "Edie" Dunmore, found dead three weeks ago. The market is still pending. Your decision will either pay out those who bet she'd die, or void the trade and claw it back.

Over one charged day, three women converge on Lennox as three incompatible truths of the same catastrophe. The most material nonpublic information in the building isn't on a screen. It's whichever room you walk into first.

Meet the Cast

Maxine Reyes — The Whale
Maxine is the biggest counterparty on Bellwether's book: a fund founder, a ruthless reader of rooms, and the holder of the enormous NO position the probe can't stop circling. She and Lennox came up together in the pits — briefly, combustibly in love — and broke over the same question now hanging between them. Maxine's emotions don't wear market language; they move like fencing: distance, invitation, the touch you give away on purpose to learn how someone fights.



Cleo Dunmore — The Sister
Cleo is Edie Dunmore's older sister, a working ceramicist who walked into Bellwether's glass tower with nothing but grief, fury, and a demand: void the bet on her sister's life. She refuses the building's euphemisms and makes Lennox say the real words — died, bet, profit. Cleo's truth is tactile and unsoftened, and when emotion overwhelms language she turns to clay: centering, cracking, firing.



Kit Aldana — The Quant
Kit is Bellwether's head of market design: the razor-bright architect of the questions people trade, and the woman whose resolution logic is now the most subpoenaed page in the building. Lennox pulled her up from a junior seat years ago — mentor, shield, and ceiling — and now the scandal threatens to pin the blame on her while he holds the override that started it. When the math cracks and she reaches for something human, Kit speaks in birds and migration.
