Gempop
Channel your beam into drifting gems, charge them until they pop, and trigger cascading chain reactions across a dark void.
Gempop is a minimalist arcade incremental game about filling gems with energy until they pop. Hover your cursor over a gem to pour energy into it. When it hits full charge, it detonates in a wave of light and sound, pushing neighbors, charging nearby crystals, and kicking off cascading chains that can endlessly escalate!
Features:
Charge-and-detonate core loop: no buttons, just hover over the gems and watch them pop.
Each pop gives you essence, which you can spend on upgrade to make the charging and detonating more interesting.
Emergent combos: each crystal type (Quartz's wave push, Amethyst's gravity pull, Topaz's chain lightning, etc.) behaves differently. Cluster them your own way and watch as reactions naturally form!
Discoveries: as you play, you unlock new types of gems each with different abilities and attributes based on your total essence.
