Tavrik is a hex-grid roguelite deckbuilder where you don’t just build a deck—you build the ROAD. Reshape a procedural medieval map with active cards and reach the exit before your energy runs dry.
The exit is visible. Getting there is your problem.

Every active card changes the map:
Build the road. Lay roads and bridges to cut travel costs and cross blocked terrain.
Change the land. Clear forests, carve through mountains, and place buildings or helpful characters where they matter most.
Every step costs energy. Hit zero, and that’s the end of the road.

Active cards shape the route. Passive cards shape the run.
Find your engine. Mix active cards with passives, tags, upgrades, and your traveler’s strengths to build around movement, energy, gold, vision, threat, or durability.
Keep your deck on the road. At each market, spend your run’s gold on new cards—or choose a pack type, crack it open, and keep one card from whatever tumbles out.
Cards wear down with use, so your deck keeps changing as the journey continues. A few passives are Legendary: run-defining, absurdly rare, and waiting far down the road. Can you survive long enough to find one?

Cross green lowlands, sinking swamps, frozen wilds, scorching deserts, and volcanic ground. Each has a new way to ruin your route.
Discover landmarks with run-changing powers. Some offer a timely boost; the rarest invite you to place a bet for a potentially huge payoff.

Reach the exit and you can leave. Congratulations. Now decide whether greed gets another turn.
Cash out. Leave now and keep what you earned.
Push your luck. Stay for more gold while threat rises, wildlife closes in, and disasters get meaner.
One more hex? Famous last words.

Bosses are hostile maps with special rules, not giant monsters. Rain turns ground to mud, lightning sets forests ablaze, earthquakes wreck structures, and wolves hunt your route.
Forecasts warn you before trouble hits. Bad luck rarely arrives unannounced. Surviving it is still your problem.

Start each run as the Pathfinder, Guardian, Merchant, or Master Planner. Favor safer roads, threat control, profit, or careful timing—each traveler rewards a different style of play.
Then choose a friendly cat for the road! It may not fix your route. It may sit directly on it.
