CORDCUTTER: Hybrid Warfare
Hoist your false flag and cut undersea data cables with a massive physics-based anchor in the Gulf of Finland. Evade patrols or face the music in survivors-like combat, gather items, earn rubles and deny responsibility. CORDCUTTER is a satirical naval action roguelite about mastering hybrid warfare.
🏴☠️ FLY YOUR FALSE FLAG
Choose any fake flag you like and commandeer a fleet ranging from tugboats and freighters with absurdly heavy anchors to stealthy leisure cruisers built for plausible deniability. Embark on a not-so-secret mission to ruin the peace of the Baltic Sea. Unlock increasingly unsubtle ships and items by earning service medals from the captain of your shadow fleet.
⚓ UNLEASH YOUR ANCHOR RAGE
Steer, swing, and drift a mighty physics-based anchor to sever undersea data cables and inflict catastrophic damage to persons and property. Attack openly, deny everything. Arm yourself with an arsenal of questionable weapons and items, and shop for clandestine upgrades in pure maritime mayhem.
🥷 SURVIVORS-STYLE STEALTH ACTION
Slip through detection zones, call in baseless threats, and bluff your way out of consequences. Flee to your home harbor or face the music. Play it sneaky or go in guns blazing. Deploy circus bears, seagull shields, and oil spills to really hammer the message home.
🚢 WELCOME TO THE GULF OF FINLAND
Enter the storm-lashed seas of the Gulf of Finland - the gateway to the Baltic Sea. Sweep the waters with your radar to uncover treasure, secret bases, and black-market upgrades. Earn rubles by sabotaging the data speeds of your Nordic neighbors. Then disappear, deny responsibility, and do it all over again. Shifting patrol routes, cable locations, and shops ensure that no unwanted visit is ever the same.
