Greed or Dread: Which will claim you first?
Tamas: Shadowveil is a first-person PvPvE extraction game set in a dark world inspired by Chinese folklore.
Enter haunted ruins armed with cold steel. Search for valuable relics, fight supernatural creatures and rival players, and escape before everything you brought in—and everything you found—is lost.
WHAT KIND OF GAME IS IT?
Enter a blight-stricken region alongside other players.
Explore abandoned settlements, search buildings for lost treasures, and fight anything standing between you and the extraction point—whether human, supernatural, or something in between.
Escape successfully, and everything you collect is yours to keep.
Fall before you make it out, and you lose everything you carried into the match.
There are no shrinking circles. The only way to win is to find a way out alive.
CHINESE FOLK HORROR BROUGHT TO LIFE
Paper figures that move when you look away. Creatures hidden within the firelight. Something behind the door. Something above the rafters. Something beneath the water.
A wide range of threats inspired by Chinese folk tales and supernatural legends now roam the land—and none of them intend to let you leave.
IMMERSIVE EXPLORATION IN FORBIDDEN LAND
Built with Unreal Engine 5, Tamas: Shadowveil brings its unsettling world to life through richly detailed environments.
Explore crumbling ancestral halls, moonlit abandoned villages, deserted opera stages, and manor corridors lit by fading lanterns.
These are more than combat arenas. Every location holds traces of what happened there, and every detail may be a clue—or a warning.
RISK IT ALL FOR RARE RELICS
Each region is filled with valuable relics and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.
Fill your pack. Search one more room. Push deeper for a better haul.
The greatest rewards are often found in the most dangerous places. Knowing when to keep searching—and when to escape—is the difference between leaving rich and leaving with nothing.
BRUTAL CLOSE-QUARTERS COMBAT
Swords. Spears. Sabers. War fans. Halberds.
Master an arsenal inspired by centuries of Chinese martial weaponry in intense, close-range battles where timing and positioning matter.
Block incoming attacks. Dodge at the right moment. Counter when your opponent leaves an opening.
Read the fight carefully — it's not over until the last breath.
BUILD YOUR OWN COMBAT STYLE
Choose from distinct combat archetypes inspired by Chinese folklore, each offering a different way to survive.
Control enchanted objects. Break through enemy defenses with raw force. Strike from concealment. Outmaneuver opponents through planning and precision.
Combine abilities, weapons, and tactics to create a playstyle that suits you.
A thousand paths through the blight. How you break the deadlock is yours to define.
