Ever After Again: A Stories Adventure
Return to the world of Stories, or enter it for the first time, in an action RPG where your choices shape the adventure, a sarcastic narrator follows your every triumph and disaster, and you'll combine swords, sorcery, and flexible card-based powers to find the hero's path that will save the world!
Once, armed with the Book of Destinies, Reynardo, a former sky pirate, unlikely hero and, according to a completely impartial source, incredibly handsome adventurer, lived through one disastrous future after another until he uncovered the Hero Path that could defeat the mad Emperor Isengrim.
Along the way, he exposed a traitor, survived some spectacularly ill-advised ancient magic and reunited with Zenobia: Isengrim’s adopted daughter, a powerful sorceress and Reynardo’s former sweetheart. After a great deal of running, jumping and heroic improvisation, evil was defeated, love prevailed, and the two settled down.
Which, traditionally, is where the story ends.
Unfortunately, ten years into his happily ever after, Reynardo discovers that “ever after” does not necessarily mean forever after all. Not ideal, especially when the knees are no longer what they used to be.
Now an even greater evil threatens Boreas, and Reynardo will once again need the Book of Destinies to find the path to victory.
Return to Boreas, or visit for the first time, and explore a fantasy world of floating islands, airships, and magic. No previous adventure experience required. The narrator has already caught you up.

Choose Your Next Terrible Idea
Open the Book of Destinies and guide Reynardo through branching and looping adventures shaped by your choices. Face ancient horrors, personal drama, and the occasional situation that, frankly, would have been much easier to avoid with better judgement.
Each path reveals new consequences, secrets and possibilities as Reynardo lives, and sometimes dies...there's a lot of dying, to be truthful, through his decisions in search of the true Hero Path.
His exploits are accompanied by reactive narration provided by a honey-voiced thespian of unrivaled skill that follows the story as it unfolds, celebrates the victories, questions the decisions, and ensures that no heroic blunder goes unremarked.
Fight Through Every Possible Future
Reynardo may have spent a decade in retirement, but evil has shown remarkably little respect for his schedule.
Fight through fast, fluid action-RPG battles that combine melee and ranged weapons with magical abilities. Mix weapons and spells into powerful combos and action chains, adapt your approach to varied challenges, and remind Boreas why Reynardo was once considered a hero.
Or at the very least, hero-adjacent.
Change the Plan. Change the Hero
Complete story paths to unlock cards that grant upgradable weapons, spells, and passive powers. Swap and combine them to create powerful synergies and reinvent Reynardo’s playstyle in seconds.
Turn him from a fragile but powerful glass cannon into a hard-to-kill tank, without restarting the adventure or permanently committing to one build.
