About
Build, wire and run your own datacenter with your own two hands.
Datacenter Simulator is a first-person management sim where nothing happens from a menu. You order the hardware, carry the boxes in from the delivery van, rack every server yourself, and patch every cable by hand then keep it all alive while the bills, the weather and the work orders pile up.
BUILD IT
Buy racks, servers, switches, shelves and cable rails at the shop PC
Meet the delivery van at the loading dock and haul your packages inside
Unpack, place, and slot units into racks exactly where you want them
WIRE IT
Run real patch cables: server to switch, switch to the wall uplink
Configure IP subnets on every switch, get the network math right or serve nobody
Route cable runs over overhead rails, and mind your spool: wire is metered by the meter
KEEP IT ALIVE
Connect to the utility grid, replace blown fuses, and keep diesel generators fueled
A UPS battery buys you minutes when the power fails, emergency lights buy you visibility
Fight heatwaves with AC units before your servers thermal-trip
Resolve work orders, repair hardware failures, and watch the NOC wall for trouble
GROW IT
Sign client contracts and serve their capacity to earn money
Balance power bills, repair costs and reputation
Scale from one lonely rack to a humming server hall, and take your company public
Every box you carry, every cable you plug, every fuse you replace, it's all you. How big can your datacenter get?
Estimates — owners use the Boxleiter method (reviews × 32), wishlists proxy followers × 12, revenue uses ~62% of list price × est. owners. These are rough industry heuristics, not official data.
