Dumpster Diving Simulator
Arrive on a small island town flat broke and build a junk empire. Dig through dumpsters, flip your finds, win storage auctions, haggle at the flea market and grow from a trash bag to a loaded truck in this realistic scavenging life sim.
You step off the ferry with empty pockets and one phone number. Your friend Emre swears this sleepy island town is full of money, it's just buried in the trash. He's right.
Dumpster Diving Simulator is a realistic open-world scavenging sim about working your way up: rummage through the town's dumpsters, learn what junk is worth, sell it where it pays best, and slowly turn garbage bags into vans, storage units and a reputation everyone on the island knows.
🗑️ Dig Through the Trash
Every dumpster hides something, reveal your finds one by one and hope for a rare pull. Grab gloves so you don't get sick, shower off the filth, keep your hunger and energy in check. Trash day fills the containers back up, so learn the town's rhythm.
💰 Sell Smart — Prices Move Every Day
Scrap prices rise and fall daily like a stock market. Check the Scrap Exchange on your laptop before you sell: copper spiking? Load the truck and race to the weighbridge, where your haul is paid by weight and material. Plastic crashing? Stash it in your depot and wait out the market.
🤝 Six Ways to Cash In
Recycling container, quick cash for a full trash bag
The weighbridge, drive in, weigh, unload, get paid by the kilo
Online marketplace, photograph items on your phone, list them, haggle with buyers and ship from the post office
Flea market stall, rent a pitch on market days and negotiate face-to-face with the locals
The collector, antiques carry hidden value; get them appraised and haggle over the total. The scrapyard would pay $1 for what he pays hundreds
Storage auctions, outbid the regulars at the nightly live auction, cut the lock, and pray the unit isn't full of junk... or is it treasure?
🚚 From Trash Bag to Truck Fleet
Start on foot, buy a squeaky hand cart, then an ATV, hitch a trailer, and work your way up to pickups, flatbeds and vans. Load cargo beds freely piece by piece, physics decides if that fridge stays on. Vehicles need fuel, take real damage, and the paint shop handles repairs, resprays and upgrades. Broke down in the hills? Call roadside assistance.
🏝️ Live on the Island
Rent a motel room, then a house with your own depot. Take jobs from the job board, clean out the old diner, find a neighbor's lost gold watch, haul a garage clearout. Build reputation so the town trusts you with bigger work. Day-night cycle, weekly events like market days and trash day, and named locals who call you by name, Emre checks in on every milestone.
📱 Your Phone and Laptop Run the Business
Map with waypoints, camera, marketplace, live auctions, vehicle gallery, bank with real transactions, installment loans, roadside assistance, all on your phone.
