From Which We STEM is an experimental puzzle-adventure game where players explore key moments in the lives of groundbreaking women in STEM through interactive mini-games and immersive storytelling.

Step into the shoes of:

• Hypatia of Alexandria, navigating celestial charts in the Great Library

• Ada Lovelace, building logic circuits to understand early computing

• Dr. Grace Hopper, debugging early code to solve logic-based challenges

• Hedy Lamarr, experimenting with frequency-hopping to transmit signals securely

• Dr. Mae Jemison, preparing systems for a space shuttle mission

These are just the start, more will be announced soon.

Each historical figure is brought to life through a unique interactive environment and custom audio - each of the tracks are original compositions written specifically for this game. The soundtrack and visual design reflect the time periods and personal struggles of these innovators.

Gameplay is designed to encourage experimentation, with minimal guidance. Players must observe, explore, and figure things out—mirroring the spirit of scientific discovery. The game currently features five playable chapters, each lasting 10–20 minutes, with future updates planned to include more women and interactive stories.
