Exile
A survival city-builder unlike any other—shaped by rolling hills, guide generations, and grow without limits. No cap on scale, no slowdown, just strategy and survival at your pace.
In Exile, you lead a band of displaced settlers, cast out into an unforgiving land where only resourcefulness and resilience will secure a future. It's your decisions—the paths you clear, the shelters you raise, the hope you kindle—that will determine whether this small village endures or fades into the wild.
Through each season, you’ll be the one deciding how your village survives, adapts, and eventually thrives. Will you lead them to prosperity—or watch as the seasons take their toll?
Your choices carry weight. Neglect a firewood supply, and your people might freeze. Let the food run low, and they’ll grow weak and desperate. Disease can spread quickly if you overlook medicine or sanitation. But care well, and you can build schools, libraries, farms, even workshops to craft tools and books that pass knowledge through generations. Every decision steers your village down a different path—one of hardship, innovation, or quiet resilience.
These are your people, not just for a season but for generations to come. As they grow, learn, and pass on their knowledge, your village becomes more than a place. It becomes a lineage. Shaped by the land and strengthened by your choices, their story unfolds in countless ways as their legacy deepens with every passing year.
Key Features:
Smart Systems at Scale: Built to handle villages of hundreds and beyond, the simulation remains responsive no matter how large your population grows. Villagers make practical decisions finding the nearest food, shelter, or task without issue. Unless they’re one of the drunk ones. Hard to say where they meant to go.
Time and Atmosphere, Your Way: Set the pace of your village life with full control over time—pause, slow down, or speed things up as needed, and the soundtrack follows. And with a curated 40-track dynamic soundtrack, custom-composed, the mood shifts with the seasons. Prefer a calmer experience? You can turn off dynamic changes—or silence the music altogether for peaceful focus. Skip any track, and it won’t return for hours.
Playable Topography: From flat plains to rugged mountainsides, navigate the challenges of various landscapes. Every rise, fall, and curve of the land will shape your village's layout and growth whether carving a way through stone, spanning a gap, or stepping your way uphill..
Seasons-linked Day & Night Cycle: Scorching summers and harsh winters aren’t all your villagers must adapt to. From golden sunrises to quiet twilight, each day offers a subtle reminder that the world is alive beside you. Trees blush with autumn reds, snow creeps in overnight, and spring mornings bring fresh green to the fields—nothing stays still for long.
Adaptive Challenges: Not only is it the unpredictable winters your villagers must brace for, but sickness sweeping through your village, food shortages, the threat of raging fire, along with the occasional drunk slipping on ice or vanishing into the mud, and more. The land is as harsh as it is beautiful.
Rich, Evolving World: Your village exists within a truly living world. As you build and expand, the land responds. Overfish a lake and the fish may vanish. Birds follow favored migration paths, and they too are vulnerable. Every creature you see—whether it's a rabbit darting through the brush or a monarch drifting past—is part of the ecosystem, not just scenery. Hunt them, live alongside them, or let them be—but understand this: anything that moves can disappear if you're not careful.
Resource Management & Crafting: Gather raw materials from the land around you, craft tools and structures, and use every resource wisely.
Exploration & Discovery: The world beyond your village holds many secrets and opportunities. Explore untamed wilderness, trade with others, and expand your village to great new heights.
Robust Save and Load System: Jump back into your village in seconds with near-instant load times and smooth auto-saving. Whether you're planning every move or playing on the go, your progress is always preserved and ready when you are.
Can You Thrive in a Changing World?
Every day will present new challenges. With a deep focus on strategic planning, resource management, and personal care for your villagers, your leadership will determine the fate of the village. Will you be able to create a thriving community, or will your people be left to face the harsh elements alone?
Whether you're expanding into a vast frontier or simply ensuring your people stay healthy and content, Exile offers a rich, engaging experience that will test your ability to lead.
