9 Yin Sutra: Wuxia
Step into a new yet familiar jianghu, where the tranquil waterways of Jiangnan give way to the vast frontier deserts, bustling cities of the Central Plains, and rugged mountains of the southwest. Explore a living martial-arts world shaped by dynamic weather.
◆ A Breathtaking Wuxia World, Brought to Life
Under an ever-changing sky, mountains and rivers stretch across a world alive with the warmth and bustle of everyday life. Journey from the picturesque waterways of Jiangnan to the storied martial heartland of the Central Plains, from quiet bridges and flowing streams to towering peaks and mighty rivers. Every road reveals a new vista, and perhaps a new opportunity.
Delve into hidden caves, scale towering peaks, cast a line beside a tranquil river, or gather herbs in the wild and craft medicines. The choice is yours. Blazing sun, torrential rain, blizzards, and sandstorms can sweep across the world without warning, transforming the landscape and shaping how you travel.
◆ Forge Your Own Path in a Truly Open World
Roam, explore, and adventure at your own pace, free from the constraints of a traditional linear story. Fortune, danger, and the unknown may wait around every corner.
Become a wandering hero who stands against injustice and punishes the wicked. Withdraw into the mountains to master rare martial arts, or plunge into the power struggles of the jianghu and fight to become leader of the martial world. Gather resources, craft equipment, concoct medicines, and build one-of-a-kind structures.
Countless paths lie before you. Take the first step and enter the jianghu of your dreams.
◆ Master Your Arts. Walk Your Own Path.
Experience the vast beauty of the jianghu from multiple perspectives. A wealth of martial arts awaits, each with its own techniques, rhythm, and style. Master signature moves from a hundred schools, cultivate your inner strength, and open your meridians to unlock even greater power.
Learn to read the people around you, and NPCs may become invaluable allies. Life in the jianghu is not defined by combat alone: practice medicine and save lives, forge peerless weapons, or pursue a calling entirely your own.
There is no single highest peak. Define your own summit, and become a grandmaster unlike any other.
◆ The Classic Feint-Overt-Block System, Reimagined
The classic Feint-Overt-Block combat system returns with a comprehensive overhaul, bringing the breathtaking clashes of wuxia novels, film, and television to life with greater authenticity.
Every move draws on authentic martial movement, from powerful, weighty strikes to nimble, flowing forms. Battles can turn in an instant. Chain signature techniques together seamlessly, hold your own against entire groups, and experience combat at its most fluid and exhilarating.
Use the terrain to your advantage; everything around you can influence the outcome. This new combat system breaks with convention to capture the full spirit of wuxia: grounded, hard-hitting, and exhilarating.
◆ Every NPC Has a Life of Their Own
Every NPC has a distinct personality, background, and story. They move freely through the world, following daily routines, working, pursuing personal goals, or carrying out missions of their own. Their connections with one another can lead to alliances, rivalries, and conflict.
In this living jianghu, no interaction is ever simple. Your encounters may uncover stories and rumors, clues both obvious and hidden, and rewards you never expected.
The path you choose may turn them into friend or foe. Choose carefully; there may be no turning back.
