"Since 1935" is a narrative-driven game inspired by the true story of the creator's grandmother, who grew up in China from 1935 onwards. Through interactive storytelling, players will experience her journey, facing war, hardship, and the resilience of an ordinary woman navigating an ever-changing world.
The game features:
Immersive Storytelling: A rich, character-driven narrative inspired by real events, exploring themes of survival, family, and hope in contemporary China.
Light Puzzles: Integrated puzzles that connect to the narrative, challenging players to think critically while delving deeper into the story.
Emotional Exploration: Experience significant moments in her life, each accompanied by player choices that reveal her resilience and humanity.
Atmospheric Visuals and Music: Beautiful lianhuanhua visuals - a form of picture book from China in the 20th century - and an evocative soundtrack that convey the emotional depth of her journey.
This game is a tribute to her strength and offers an intimate window into a time and place that shaped her life—and the lives of many others—forever.
