Skarven
Fallow fields birth strange life. Battle botanical abominations and a fanatical militant cult as you journey through a dark and distorted vision of the Danish countryside. Experience deep lore, thick atmosphere, and razor sharp mechanics in this raw yet refined classical narrative FPS.
A Linear Narrative Experience
Following in the hallowed footsteps of the Half-Life series, the game takes you on a story-based adventure where everything plays out in real time and the game never takes away control. Fight, solve, and traverse as you engage with eccentric NPCs and uncover a world steeped in environmental storytelling. A seamless world without loading-screens awaits you.
A Unique World
Revisit the turn of the millennium as you immerse yourself in an alternative Danish past where lumbering spirit beasts wander a fallow land reeling from a man-made disaster 15 years prior. Experience nordic noir in dense pine forests, aging farmhouses, and vast industrial compounds that blend retro-futuristic elements with heady Danish folklore.
Modern Mechanics
Face the challenge of a grounded yet highly responsive first person shooter. Slide, dodge, parry and mantle your way through the unfolding world and familiarize yourself with a carefully selected arsenal of guns and the iconic AROS warhammer. Balance caution, tactics, and aggression as you utilize your surroundings to overcome the overwhelming forces that threaten to bring down civilization itself.
Raw yet Refined Visuals
A distinct mix of low-poly models and chunky pixelated textures with painterly lighting and cinematic flair. The technically advanced yet aesthetically retrograde visuals harken back to a time when style was more important than fidelity and nothing was there unless an artist chose to put it there. Everything you see is handcrafted with a passionate love for the golden era of first person shooters.
