'ROOST' is a brief first-person horror game, set in the English town of Mournbrough - a place harbouring dark secrets and seemingly lost to time.
The Player assumes the role of Declan Harker; a down-on-his-luck paranormal investigator who has been drawn to a haunting mystery where their quest for answers quickly spirals into a personal nightmare.
A haunting mystery. A personal nightmare. Overcome your fears. Uncover the truth.
Heavily inspired by P.T., Paratopic, Silent Hill , Se7en, Lost Highway and the work of Kyoshi Kurosawa.
'CRUEL BRITANNIA'
The games visual direction borrows heavily from PSX era, but channeled through a bleak vision of the forgotten realm of northern England.
IT'S GRIM UP NORTH
A regional tale, set in the North-East of England. Inspired by the stories, perceptions and tales of the area. Welcome to Mournbrough.
ATMOSPHERIC WORLD AND SOUND DESIGN
The town has many sights to see, and plenty of things you don't want to hear. Every nook and cranny has a story to tell.
MAKE CONVERSATION
People make the world go round. Get to know them or keep your distance. Never judge a book by it's cover.
A JOURNEY LIKE NO OTHER
Getting to the town is just the start. What happens next is a mystery.
