Cooking Simulator 2: Prologue
Grab an apron and a friend. Cook for free in Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together Prologue, where experiments go wrong, kitchens get messy, and teamwork is optional but recommended.
Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together Prologue is a free introduction to the full game.
It offers a focused slice of the core gameplay, early progression, and first challenges, giving you a hands-on preview of what the complete experience will deliver.
This Prologue is designed to let you learn the basics, try key systems, and decide how you want to cook, completely free of charge.
Start Your Culinary Journey
Your journey begins in a small burger joint, where you will learn the fundamentals of cooking, ingredient handling, and kitchen workflow. Serve different guests, meet their expectations, and start building your reputation as a chef. Creativity and efficiency are the keys to success.
Experiment With Recipes
Cooking is about more than following instructions.
In the Prologue, you can experiment with recipes by adjusting ingredients, techniques, and preparation methods. Discover what works best for your guests and develop your own approach to cooking.
If you prefer guidance, you can also unlock and use recipes inspired by real dishes from around the world. Each one can be adjusted with simple changes to suit different tastes.
Manage the Kitchen
Cooking is only part of the job. Order supplies before you run out, prepare ingredients ahead of service, and keep your workstations clean and organized. A well-managed kitchen helps you stay efficient and keeps your guests happy.
Learn the Basics of Real Cooking
Use professional kitchen equipment and fresh ingredients to prepare your dishes. Control heat, manage timing, choose the right cuts, and avoid common mistakes like burning food or serving it undercooked. Assemble and plate your dishes the way you like, and finish them with the right final touch.
