Screenbound
Screenbound lets you discover a dual reality through the Qboy! Navigate challenging puzzles and battle through multiple levels in a blend of 2D and 3D platforming that creates the world’s first '5D' platformer.
You’ve discovered the Qboy, a strange device you found in your mom’s garage. This handheld console is unlike any other because when you power it on, reality splits!
Screenbound is a dual-world action adventure where a 2D handheld game and the 3D world around it exist at the same time — and you control both.
Embark on an adventure through this unknown world, switching between the realistic 3D world and a retro-styled 2D world, solving puzzles and defeating enemies while uncovering an exciting story in an unknown world.
Key Features
Dual-Dimensional Gameplay: Control both 3D and 2D versions of yourself simultaneously. Your actions mirror across realities, but the rules don’t.
Challenging Puzzles: Solve different puzzles that require shifting perspective, timing and logic across two planes of existence.
Unlock new tools and skills: Unlock new abilities as you progress that give you even more ways to solve the puzzles
Uncover the Story and Secrets: Explore offbeat areas and discover a unique story through environmental storytelling.
Dual Focus: Some objects, enemies, and platforms only exist in one world so stay alert!
Screenbound blends retro-inspired pixel art with a stylized 3D world and looks to bring a new and exciting take on the platforming genre, challenging you to take information from the 3D world you’re in, and the 2D world on your screen, to overcome the 5D challenges put in front of you.
This isn’t just a game. It’s a quantum experiment and you’re the variable.
