The Whims of the Gods
The Whims of the Gods is a strategic, cooperative city-builder created for joint gameplay in online co-op mode. Build and protect the ancient city, face enemies, and manage resources together! 🏠
🏠 CITY OF DREAMS
Build your city and watch it grow. Become a leader of the emerging civilization!
We, the Ancient Whimsical Gods, have given you a goal! You must build a vibrant ancient metropolis, satisfy the needs of its inhabitants, and efficiently process the resources obtained. Do you think it will be easy? Maybe creating houses or warehouses for storing food will not be a challenge, but building complex production systems, growing plants, and breeding animals are not the easiest tasks. And we will watch how badly you fail…
🧑🤝🧑 CO-OP CITY BUILDER
Take part in a cooperative game with another player. Join forces to create a thriving metropolis!
As the Great Creators of this Steam tab, we wanted to add that The Whims of the Gods features a unique co-op system in the genre. Instead of competing, cooperate. However, remember that even the best players can have conflicts.
⚔️ A MOUNTAIN FULL OF DANGERS
Battle terrifying enemies crawling from the heart of the mountain. Defend your city at all costs!
We allowed players to activate special abilities during battles, such as mass healing or dealing increased damage to enemies, depending on the technological advances and buildings placed in the city. We like watching people kill each other. We eat popcorn while we do it…
📅 CHRONICLE OF DESTINY
Explore the mystical calendar that shapes your fate, revealing upcoming events!
We Gods say to you, little creatures - prepare your city for the coming situations, to avoid the painful consequences that - yes - we will send upon you! At one time, you will build hospitals for sick citizens, and at another time, warehouses to accommodate exceptionally fertile crops.
🌋 THE ANGER OF THE VOLCANO
Face the relentless fury of an impending volcanic eruption!
Time is running out before your fledgling civilization's destruction. Fulfill our whims! Trade with us to buy more time before the coming cataclysm! Maybe you'll gain our trust, or maybe... no, you won't outsmart us!
MAIN FEATURES
🏝️ The game offers cooperative gameplay for two players, allowing them to build an ancient city together. Because we will allow it!
🏝️ The implemented combat module based on auto-battler mechanics serves to defend the city from a growing threat, and the key decision system allows players to determine their role in the development of the city and how they will develop it technologically. And in fact, it is we who will allow it, not any system!
🏝️ An extensive religion mode that will allow players to appeal to the deities and receive blessings from them. And this is the best feature.
🏝️ A special calendar that predicts future events, such as monster attacks, natural disasters, abundant harvests, and many others. Although we like to surprise the villagers, the development team made sacrifices to get us to agree. And we are bribed!
🏝️ Possibility to unlock different game endings
