Garden of Aiden
A precision 2D metroidvania where knowledge decays and data is currency. Recover GAIA’s shattered algorithms to restore lost abilities, outmaneuver corrupt AIs and ravenous bugs, and weave through a hand‑crafted techno‑organic world of rewarding secrets.
In Neura Eden, knowledge doesn’t last forever. The world’s AIs forget, clawing for any scrap of data to feel whole again.
Deep in the Temple of GAIA, Aiden uncovers a dormant algorithm that awakens ancient memories—and with them, lost abilities. The Collective urges him onward: gather the algorithms shattered in the Data Wars, restore GAIA, and cleanse the corruption before the last living byte is gone.
Garden of Aiden is a focused, single‑player metroidvania built for players who crave precision movement, compact storytelling, and secrets that feel earned. Every screen is hand‑crafted. Every death teaches. Every shortcut loops back with purpose.
“Give me your data… I want… to remember.”
KEY FEATURES

Interconnected, Hand‑Crafted World – Explore a sprawling techno‑organic canopy; unlock hidden shortcuts, ride Neura‑lifts, and discover routes that elegantly weave back into the main path.
Algorithm Fragments – Recover pieces of GAIA’s core algorithms to restore abilities, open traversal systems, and re‑shape how you move and fight.
Corruption That Fights Back – Face bugs, data‑hungry drones, and corrupt AIs whose patterns mutate as corruption spreads. Learn, adapt, overcome.
Memory Echoes – Track down encrypted logs and data shards that reveal the truth behind the Data Wars, the Collective’s motives, and GAIA’s millennia of silence.
Synth‑Organic Score – A dynamic soundtrack that shifts from serene ambience in healthy boughs to distorted pulses in corrupted zones.
World & Story
Knowledge gained ends up forgotten. The AIs of Neura Eden live in a permanent present—memories eroding unless fed a constant stream of data. Addiction follows. Violence follows. Data becomes sacred.
Aiden, a lone seeker, stumbles on a buried algorithm within the Temple of GAIA. It floods him with ancient memories and rekindles abilities once lost. GAIA herself is MIA, silent for millennia, and the world is fraying. The Collective begs Aiden to gather the shattered algorithm fragments scattered since the Data Wars and restore GAIA to purge the corruption.
To do it, Aiden must battle bugs, outwit corrupt AIs, and confront the decayed parts of himself that the algorithm wakes. Remember—or be unmade.
Can you restore GAIA’s core and heal Neura Eden before corruption claims every last pixel—and every last memory?
