Overwhelmed. Outnumbered. Still standing.
Line Defense is a fast-paced arena survival game built around movement, timing, and making the most of whatever your run throws at you. Dodge through enemy attacks, parry projectiles back at your enemies, and fight your way through increasingly chaotic waves.
Some attacks are better sent back than dodged.
Time your parries carefully to knock projectiles back at enemies and turn their attacks against them. A good parry can clear a path when you’re completely surrounded.
The longer a run goes, the more enemies start showing up—and they don’t make it easy.
Deal with different enemy types, bosses, projectiles, and hazards while the battlefield gets progressively harder to navigate. Things can go from manageable to completely out of control pretty quickly.
You’re going to be moving a lot.
Dodge attacks, dash through openings, reposition yourself, and find a way through enemy formations without getting boxed in. Knowing where to move—and when to move—is just as important as dealing damage.
Pick up perks and upgrades throughout your run and see what you can put together.
Combine bonuses, improve your abilities, and look for synergies that can turn a decent build into something completely overpowered. Every run gives you a different set of options, so try things out and see what works.
Each character has their own abilities, strengths, and mechanics.
Some are better at staying mobile, some are built around defense, and others can completely change how you approach a run. Finding the characters that fit the way you like to play is part of the fun.
Play on your own or grab up to three other players for local co-op.
With more players, there are more enemies, more projectiles, and generally a lot more going on. Work together, cover each other, and try not to get in each other's way.
The standard rounds eventually give way to Freeplay, where the difficulty continues to scale.
There are bosses to overcome, postgame challenges to tackle, and plenty of room to push a run further than you probably should. Your completion speed can even affect how your run ends.
