BACKROOMS: APPREHENSION is a terrifying and immersive multiplayer horror experience that blends action, stealth, horror, and social deduction.
The game offers two vastly different play styles, high replayability thanks to player interactions, and a unique atmosphere of dread and paranoia.
SURVIVE AND ESCAPE AS A SCIENTIST
A hostile shapeshifting monster is lurking among your team and won't stop until every last human has been eliminated!
You'll need to scavenge for supplies and weapons while trying to work with your team to expose the creature or find a way to escape.
Be extremely careful! Trusting the wrong person could be your last mistake...
MANIPULATE AND TERRORIZE AS THE SKIN STEALER
As the monstrous shapeshifting Skin Stealer, your only goal is to eliminate or infect all humans before they expose you or escape.
Direct attacks won't work against a well-coordinated team; you’ll need to be cunning.
Assimilate your victims, hide in plain sight, sow distrust, spread paranoia, and pit them against each other.
