QUO
A first-person dystopian sci fi-liminal adventure that mixes mystery, liminal spaces and science fiction. In this mission you are QUO, an autonomous robot explorer. Find the trail of the lost crew, dive underwater and investigate a reality full of enigmas. Now it's your turn.
A Y2K Research Group, a systemic bug affecting computer equipment due to the millennium change in the year 2000, accidentally opened a portal to another reality. Your mission is now focused on exploring, identifying and securing this unknown area and minimising the possible consequences of the other side of this reality on our own.
Your objective is to enter the portal at the controls of QUO, the autonomous robot explorer charged with this mission. Others have taken on this mission before you and have not returned.
That was the fate that met the brigade that raided the area. Their whereabouts are unknown. One by one, the three of them lost communication with Central and it is unknown if they are still alive.
After this incident, only autonomous robots can access the area. Now it is your turn. Their fate depends on you and time is running out - bring them back!

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE MOST IMMERSIVE UNDERWATER LIMINAL EXPERIENCE YET
The surface may be unsettling but the best-kept enigmas are hidden in the depths. Each dive reveals new secrets and challenges that bring you that much closer to the lost crew. Dive in, explore freely and go where no one has gone before.
The new QUO model has been equipped with a technical upgrade: a submersible system, allowing both underwater and land exploration, allowing you to follow the crew's trail without the changing environment being an obstacle to your mission.
BATHED BY A BODY OF WATER
The area is awash with a water-like fluid, but early reports from the crew already gave hints that the liquid mass might not be:
‘The waves reflect back to us from the surface of the water. I have never before experienced such a pressing need to drink and the liquid did not quench my thirst.’
THE SUCCESS OF THE MISSION DEPENDS ON YOU
QUO is the key piece to taking the investigation to another level. Use your special scanning skills to track, decrypt and interpret the clues, documents and clues that will lead you to complete your mission.
Agent Dana is the engineer in charge of the robotics unit of the Y2K Research Group. She is in charge of implementing the new system for sending and receiving samples from another side of reality to our own. The stakes are high and the success of this mission depends on your skill.
ARCHITECTURE OF THE UNSETTLING
Break the silence of unexplored spaces, challenge solitude at lost thresholds and confront enigmas on the frontier of the unknown. But beware, if you hear a whisper, it will have heard you first.
A dystopian first-person adventure that mixes mystery, liminal spaces and science fiction.
QUO is inspired by liminal spaces and internet phenomena such as ‘found footage’, ‘Backrooms’ or ‘Poolrooms’.
Backrooms are an urban legend that arises from the discomfort of seeing uninhabited spaces designed to house large groups of people, such as offices, department stores, water parks,...
